Real Talk! Before you start cutting calories, ad Real Talk!

Before you start cutting calories, adding more exercise and trying miracle pills, prescriptions & procedures…..

Let’s take a moment to do the following:

1. Acknowledge 5-10 (or more) things you get to do every day because of your amazing body (breathe, see, think, walk, hug a loved one, dance, hike, bear children, etc)
2. Say thank you to your body for continuing to show up every day to do all the things.
3. Express vocally β€œI love you” to your body.
4. Now…..act like you love your body. Eat, move, rest, and supplement in ways that nourish and support your truly amazing body.
5. Be patient. Be consistent.
6. Trust the process and enjoy the journey.

Let’s talk about exercise!πŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈβ€‹β€‹ Let’s talk about exercise!πŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈβ€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹

Our bodies are designed to move and daily exercise is some of the best medicine available. When we move and exercise regularly, we build strength, endurance, boost our mood, energy and resilience.

However, there's a fine balance βš–οΈfor women who are dealing with hormone imbalances, thyroid dysfunction and adrenal stress; especially those in #perimenopause and #menopause!

πŸ‘‰When it comes to exercise, too little, too much, too intense, too long, too often…can add more stress to an already stressed system disrupting your hormones and health.

If you are completely exhausted, having your symptoms flare up more often, gaining weight for no apparent reason or just not feeling up to exercising, it’s time to learn a new way to approach your movement and exercise.

If you are in your menstruating years, understanding how to cycle sync can be a great option.

For those in perimenopause, learning how to β€œwork in” instead of always β€œworking out” can be super helpful.

And those in menopause can begin focusing on taking back their power through strength training and intentional movement!
