Why is no one talking about this?!

Protein is an important macronutrient that often gets overlooked in women’s health, especially in regard to hormone health. Benefits of eating adequate protein include:

πŸ‘‰ Blood sugar regulation
πŸ‘‰ Reduced cravings
πŸ‘‰ Improved satiety
πŸ‘‰ Increased metabolism
πŸ‘‰ Maintaining a healthy weight
πŸ‘‰ Supports muscle building and strength
πŸ‘‰ Improved recovery

It’s essential to your hormone health that you are consuming adequate protein each and every day.

But β€œπ’‰π’π’˜ π’Žπ’–π’„π’‰ π’Šπ’” π’†π’π’π’–π’ˆπ’‰ π’‘π’“π’π’•π’†π’Šπ’?”

While this will be different for each woman, based on age, weight, muscle mass, activity level and health coach, my general recommendation is for women to consume about 35-45 grams of protein at each meal and 15-20 grams with snacks.

Give yourself time to ease into adding more protein to your day. You don’t have to jump to 140 grams per day overnight.

Start by increasing your intake by adding an extra 20-30 grams.

Find the protein sources that you enjoy and start increasing your portions of those foods. Two simple strategies:

  1. Aim to have 4-6 ounces of high quality animal protein at each of your meals. Or
  2. Find a high quality protein powder, like Equip use code Laini for 15% off, and increase the serving size to get 30-40 grams.

Stay consistent and before you know it, you’ll be hitting your protein goal with ease!

Trust me! Your metabolism, mood, hormones and health will thank you!
