Less Stress & More Calm
Learning how to manage and reduce your overall stress while creating more calm in your life is critical to improving and maintain your adrenal, digestive, hormone and mental health.

As high-performing women, mothers, students, professionals and entrepreneurs, our life is not calming down anytime soon. It can be difficult to slow down when there are so many things that need our energy and attention. But I have learned that in order to have more control over my life, my time, energy, mental wellbeing and health, prioritizing stress management and self care are non-negotiable.

My life and schedule haven’t slowed down, but I am able to do more with less stress when I use these strategies and techniques regularly to shift my nervous system from stressed to calm and focused.

  1. Gratitude – Keep a gratitude journal or simply write 3 things you are grateful for at the beginning and end of each day.
  2. Breathwork – Pause during your day for 2-5 minutes to take some deep breaths to immediately calm the nervous system.
  3. Meditation/stillness – Whether it’s a 10-15 minute guided meditation or simply sitting silently, allowing yourself to “be present” helps put everything into perspective.
  4. Grounding – Spending some time in nature, preferably with bare feet on the ground, is an amazing way to feel more centered and energized.
  5. Movement – Daily movement supports your physical and mental health making you more resilient to the daily stresses you encounter.
Finding ways to support your mental health is important, and I challenge you to incorporate at least one of these tools today!
